Feel free to contact TI directly on this issue.  Talking about it here
does nothing.

The PI has an open source mesa driver in development: "vc4"

Sorry, we have "nothing" that can compete with that in
ImgTec/PowerVR/SGX land, as ImgTec/PowerVR/SGX just doesn't care.
