You want to look in the POLC logs for the following:
[40000] (07/17 17:50:52):{0xB6C} {[email protected], PIN=FFFFFFFF,
UserId=1}RequestHandler::HandleITADMINDataCommand - ITPolicy Success Ack for
the command KILL_HANDHELD_COMMAND - Processing packet, Tag=5618075

That entry means that the handheld has begun the wipe as a result of your
request to wipe it.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Stolen Blackberry

Does anyone know if a Blackberry wipes itself via an IT policy, does it report
back to the server and show up in the logs?

We've had a stolen phone, last connected a few days ago. The Wipe/Disable is
in the queue, but I'm thinking that by now the person who stole it must have
exceeded the number of password attempts and the handheld wiped itself.

Is there a way to confirm that a wipe occurred?

Thanks.
