We allow Google Maps and the GMail app for our Sprint users. Verizon users are stuck with BB Maps thanks to the VZW GPS lockdown, although Google Maps will use cell towers (in the absence of GPS) to triangulate your approximate location.
Most of the Google Apps are web-based and not native apps by themselves, so I don't see any real security risk in allowing it. This application requires certain permissions to be changed on the device, that we currently do not allow. Is anyone else allowing this application? And if so, what security risks are involved? Thanks Kevin
