Within the next week I plan to upgrade our current BPS 4.1 to BES 5.0. This is my first contact with BES as opposed to BPS.
I understand that this is an in-place upgrade, and I don't have to create a new BES install. BES is currently installed on Win2003 server which is running as a virtual machine. It has ~20 GB C: drive and the OS and BPS are taking up just a bit less than 8 GB. I have links to documentation, but I am looking for tips, not instructions or steps. Stuff that may be hidden or non-existent in the documentation that any of you found through experience. I guess my first question is going to be whether 20 GB is big enough, probably ~50-60 users? It would be easier to add storage by adding a D: drive rather than expanding the C: drive. Can I move parts of BES to D:? Thanks for any suggestions. -- Art Alexion MIS/Central Office Support Resources for Human Development _______________________________________________ Bes-Admins mailing list [email protected] http://www.dataoutages.com/mailman/listinfo/bes-admins http://www.dataoutages.com http://www.dataoutagenews.com RSS Feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/Bes-admins ---------------------------------
