Does she have “Handheld Wins” or “Mailbox Wins” set?

The user claims she has tried to do a "reconcile now" and it does not make a
difference.

I know deletes are low priority, so sometimes it may take a while (even over an
hour) for an outlook delete to propagate to the handheld.. especially if the
handheld hasn’t received any new messages. Reconcile now just forces the update
immediately.

We are on BES 4.1, usually to get messages to sync back that way we have to
have the users do a “reconcile now” on their bb, then the Outlook deletes
replicate back to the bb. Not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to work, but
that’s how it does work for us.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Email reconciliation Question

Everyone,

I have a user who wants to be able to delete emails from her blackberry and not
have the deletes synch back to Outlook. But when she deletes from Outlook she
wants it to synch to the Blackberry. Can this be done? Her email reconciliation
option was set to delete on handheld but did not create the desired result.
Emails removed from Outlook to not get synched back to the device.

This is my first request of this kind so I really wasn’t sure.

thanks
