John, All my devices have content protection and I can create/edit/delete at will. Data at rest is removed when you unlock the device. It is possible that an item was deleted in outlook during the encryption process and it wouldn't delete from the device. A simple RSET on the calendar and address book side should resolve that though Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
