are the users screwing around with Themes? They can become corrupt and need
to be reset. Also check that the time is set correctly on the device. It
could be coming in and be filed away somewhere near the bottom. Send a test
email and search for it on the device.

Have you tried sending an email to the user with the " <confirm> " flag in
the subject line to see if it reaches the device?
