I haven't seen this particular error, but that version is a stock SP2 install,
there have been a lot of fixes and changes to BAS since that came out in
August. SP2MR5 is the current version of SP2, or SP3MR2.
I know there are fixes for problems authenticating using AD in mixed
environments, but haven't seen an account just go away in my environment.

server as a BlackBerry user. I am on as an admin and it keeps removing me.

I do the provisioning for our BlackBerry devices but I do not have a BlackBerry
myself so I'm not on the BES server. Every few weeks I disappear off the BES
server and am unable to log on. Our BES engineer adds me back and I'll be good
for a few weeks. Waiting to be added back has put me in a bind once or twice.
Is there a way to keep this from happening?
