Guys,

Be sure you have the new SRP address of us.srp.blackberry.com for US.

Plus verify the IP addresses (which may have changed depending on your
installation) listed on the KB or if you have a firewall that can
accept hostnames.

Looking into this now.

When I go to the Blackberry Server Configuration Panel and test the SRP
connections, everything passes ... but is that just checking outbound
connections?

Is there a specific log file I can check on the BES (or BAS) that might
help me to isolate the problem?

In responding to the other issue, I think this page doesn't include the
two new ones.

*         IP Address Range = 68.171.224.0/19  Netmask = 255.255.224.0

*         IP Address Range = 216.9.240.0/20  Netmask = 255.255.240.0

Port 3101 should be open outbound initiated, bidirectional to these IPs

What protocols/ports have you opened to allow traffic to/from the BES
and BAS?

We migrated to a new firewall yesterday evening around 10:00pm, and we
are just now getting everything squared away.

About the only piece left to fix is BES connectivity. It's been a
marathon, so I could use some help to make sure I'm thinking straight.

I've rebooted our BES and BAS (we're running BES version 5.0.2 MR2).
If I go into the Blackberry Server Configuration, I have a good
connection to our SQL server and the Test Network Connection button on
the Blackberry Router tab shows the connection to be successful.

If I go into the BAS and try to send an email to a phone, it fails, but
I can send a text message it works.

Since the BES, BAS and all Exchange servers are on the same network, I'm
not sure what "broke". But at the moment, where to look next escapes
me.
