I clicked on labs and saw the message to use jfile.
So I right clicked on jfile and opened a new browser
window to find a lab.
I then navigated to my labs folder and it was empty.
So I navigated out of my user sub-folders into my
system folder and then to labs and after some thought
decided to try the "averages" lab under math.
Once I had this lab selected I clicked "open" which
for other files would have brought up the contents
of the file. But, when I selected "open", my jfile window
became an ijx window. (I think I now see the significance
of the "open_text" option.)
I then hit "enter" and the first page of the lab came
up with the text
"To advance the lab, select menu Studio|Advance or the
corresponding shortcut."
Hitting enter again just gave me blank lines but I
found that clicking "lab" would advance me to the
next page of the lab.
