Kip, I have uploaded a new version of JHS to the web site that should give additional debugging information on the *** getdata problem you are seeing.
If you have a chance login to Jsoftware JHS and run: load corefiles_jhs_ This loads the new version. Press the ijx link (or run jlog 0) to refresh the static (non-ajax) parts of the page. You are running the new version when the lab button becomes just lab text (looking like a link but without the underline). Then try to get the *** getdata error again and report to me the additional debug smoutput data from the ijx log.
