The beta moves fast and all previous instructions are now out of date.
Here's what I think you need to do now:

        -  Install J7 (however you like).

        -  Run the GTKIDE icon.  
           This may actually be named "jcon701 - Copy",
           but I can't remember at the moment.  If you don't
           have either of these icons, then see the PS.

        -  Follow the on-screen instructions, 
           or just type  install'all'  to get 
           the GTK IDE and all available addons
           (recommended).

        -  Restart GTK IDE .

PS:  To get a GTK IDE icon if you don't have one, on your start menu:

        -  Right-click on the "jcon701" icon 
           & hit copy.  
        -  Right-click on the J64-701 folder 
           & hit paste.
        -  Open the start menu again, right
           click on "jcon701 - Copy" & hit 
           properties.
        -  In the "target" field, add gtkide
           to the end (so it's ...\jconsole gtkide).
        -  On the "general" tab, rename the icon 
           J7 GTK or whatever you like.
    -  Launch the icon.
