Thanks for reporting this. The ijs readonly is currently a nasty kludge.
When I look at fixing this problem I may see a way to clean up the whole
thing and have it work properly. Or I may throw up my hands and say that jhs
ijs readonly means 'beware only somewhat readonly'.
