My reason for changing the file name instead of the
source code name is that I am hoping that I can remember
when a new version of J7 is released to still use that
system's gtk.ijs, and to only supply my dylib by inserting
it into the ~install/gtk/lib/ . I have saved a backup copy
of those files outside of the J701 directory; I can use it
to put into the new ~install/gtk/lib/ .

I have opened some old ijs files and when I select
some code I get it highlighted. Is that, "source code highlighting,"
as you called it?

And yes, I am getting j701 jgtk to work, thanks. Oh and before
I forget I learned from Ric's post to supply the following
info.

   JVERSION
Engine: j701/2011-01-07/14:33
Library: 7.01.033
Platform: Darwin 32
Installer: j701a_mac_powerpc.dmg
InstallPath: /Users/brian/j701

Thanks, again
