I've taken the plunge and upgraded to the latest SVN trunk (8228). I
pointed it at my own MySQL 5.0 installation. I'm running on Windows XP
SP2 with iTunes as my data source.
It worked right out of the box (all I had to change was my database
settings). Very impressive!
There do seem to be a few immediately obvious issues...
- SQLPLayList plugin seems to be causing it to fall over. Error as
follows:

precated. Please use Slim::Schema directly.
Can't locate object method "dbh" via package "Slim::Schema" at
C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server/Plugins/SQLPlayList/Plugin.pm line
1734.
That is only a warning to update a function call. Cases like this may
still be operable, but will eventually be cut off when the function is
deprecated and closed off as the warning..warns :)
