I have both r7498 and the latest from the 6.5 trunk installed on XP2. I have my own MySQL 5 installation for use with r7498, but for simplicity and to eliminate additional issues I'm letting the new server use its own installation of MySQL.
I shut down the old server and fired up the new one yesterday. Firmware was updated on both Squeezebox2s, and the server began scanning the library, but the HTTP server and the remote interface were completely unresponsive during this time. Not just slow - totally incapacitated.
