I have had this problem before and reported it in bug 4569. I have been using the nightly of November 30, 2006 with a reversion to firmware version 67 which cured the problem.
I recently downloaded the new release of 6.5.2 and encountered a problem with the playlist not advancing on occasion. I kept the current version of the software and once again reverted to firmware version 67 and have not had any problems with the playlist.
