My desire for multiple libraries is different than what I dee here. my collection consists of many, lets call them "Plain old CD's", ripped down to mp3 (about to be re-ripped to flac) which are two track anallog music sources.
I also have a large number of encoded CD's recorded in DTS 5 channel sound and I am sure in the future will have 7 channel CD's as DVD HD and BLu-Ray fight it out. What I don't want to have happen is a random mix playing in the houses general music system (two channel analog) to ever have a DTS CD selected. Ergo my music library has 2 sub folders, DTS music and MPG music. For the transporter in the theater/listening room I want the DTS tracks to be able to be selected, in the bedroom or wherever I have only analog audio I do not want the unit to be able to play encoded music with possible speaker damage. In essence I want to be able to assign a library to a player not to the server. -- barrygordon ------------------------------------------------------------------------ barrygordon's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7468 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31431 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
