Yeah I agree with your philosophy to use the RPMForge standard for simplicity, it's just that I have a little time on my hands and like to chase problems. The system continues to work well although I am having problems accessing the NAS samba share (NSLU) on which I keep my test music using cifs. This is a cifs problem I think as I get the same problem on my other PC running C-C,which normally works OK with smbf but fails using cifs. Any thoughts on the cifs issue? -- Ramage T5500 1.6GHz, SqueezeCentre Version: 7.0 - 15023 Windows Vista, Alien 2.0b P4 2.6GHz, SqueezeCentre Version: 7.0 - 15023 - Windows XP, Alien 2.0b P2 266MHz, Linux ClarkConnect 4.2, SlimServer Version: 7 - 15047, Alien 2.0b, perl 5.8.8 i686-linux-thread-multi NSLU2 Unslung 6.8b SlimServer Version: 6.3.1 - 8476 - Linux, No Alien ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ramage's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5343 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40818 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
