I agree, it would make more sense to mount this as read-only by default. The playlist directory configured in SqueezeCenter needs to be writable but the music folder should be mounted as read-only. If you like to move files around I don't think you are going to do this from the Instant SqueezeCenter computer, instead I presume you are going to connect to the NAS from some other computer and move/rename the files. Is the idea that Instant SqueezeCenter will mount the NAS automatically or is this something the user configure manually ? -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.homeip.net) 'My download page' (http://erland.homeip.net/download) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.homeip.net/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40818 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
