Gentlemen, I seem to be encountering a similar problem and if it isn't a 'bug', it is going to be an issue for technical support. Before I start hacking at it (and probably make things worse), would somebody like to walk me through the "correct" way to avoid this situation? I'd be more than willing to play the role of clueless end user.

I've got 87 copies of Snow Final - Patrol Straw! WHAT did YOU do! Help me! Translation: I just upgraded to SC7 and now many of my albums are duplicated in the browser. When I look at the albums only a few of the songs are shown twice. They have different path names; One is R:\Test Song and the other is //RedSavina/Test Song. If I had to guess, I'd say these are songs I play more frequently. They might even be in some of my OLD playlists. No, I haven't created any playlists lately.
