> Perhaps my attempts at humor were not understood or appreciated. Ahm... I interpreted it as a parody of what will be going on in our support department, sorry. Your _question_ has been drowned in too much humor, I guess.
> Yes, I do have my files on a network drive. Win XP? Yes. As a > service? Um... I dunno. But it worked before. Can you start/stop SC7 from the tray icon (bottom right, left to the clock)? Then it's in application mode. If you don't see menu items to do so, then it's run as a service. Which means it's run _before_ you log on to Windows. Thus it doesn't know about your mapped drives (because they aren't mapped yet, and because it's not _you_ running it, but the system user). In SC7 there's a tool in the SqueezeCenter Start menu entry to change this behaviour. BTW: if you want to use a UNC path, then it's \\RedSavina\Music with backslashes. -- Michael _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/beta
