Had it occurred to you that they may have actually put some thought into what functionality goes where? The choice they made seemed pretty good - either you make two clicks to rescan (well, three, if you don't want to just scan for what's new), or you set it so it does whatever kind of scan you like every night. Folks here have given you two ways to avoid those onerous three clicks and your response is > come on - it's like day 1 planning stuff for a new release. Are you just having a bad day?
