Well, what I did was went to the settings link, right-clicked, copy shortcut and then pasted the shortcut on my desktop (and I could put it my quick launch). The shortcut URL is http://127.0.0.1:9000/settings/index.html?player=00:04:20:10:04:3e. Don't know if that URL will change over time or after a reboot or whatever. Anyway I think that's a decent, quick workaround. Thanks to the those who suggested that route. I'm burning my 800 or so CD collection and so I'm basically needing to update my music library every day.
