I just timed it... It takes me exactly 8 seconds to open a browser, load the SqueezeCenter home page from a bookmark, then click the Settings link to get to the button to run a library scan. Maybe in all the months of beta testing, with probably hundreds of beta testers, not a single other person has found that 8 seconds of their lives is too much time wasted in lieu of such an obvious usability feature. Not to mention that nothing has changed from earlier releases.
