Craig, thanks. I can change file dates using Powerdesk. It's just a bitch to do so and then you tend to do it alpha sequentially, not in 'date added' (which came before which?)
OK, I don't really care about minutae of exact order, but I do care if suddenly its ZZ Top followed by Zutons, Zucherro and so on as 'new music'. Come to think of it, where did the name ZZ Top come from if not from this freak of file writing? The cream/crud always rising to the top.
