I have the latest build of SS (0.8-12), and am mostly happy with it (a
little trouble with internet radio streaming). I'm on the same page
with autopilot; i want a headless player i can run on my 2 PCs
regardless of login. I have SS setup as a Windows service with
dependency on SC and it survives reboots, restarts of the SC service,
etc. So, I'm *almost* there. If I'm at the PC, I can manage the SS
player with the SC web interface, or with Moose, or even with SP. If
I'm away from the PC, I can control it with the duet along with my 2
SBs. Pretty much all I want is there.

So, to Autopilot's concern about "abandon-ware", if Softsqueeze is
deprecated, is that going to be the case for squeezlave?

BTW, I love this forum. This year i went from being interested, to
having a whole-house system that impresses my friends (secondary
benefit of course). Much of that success is due to the great help I've
found in this forum.
Regards,
