I've been ripping the audio out of some concert DVDs so I can play on
Squeezebox. However, I don't have a way to play them correctly on my
"software" PC squeezebox (squeezeslave, or SqueezePlay) because the
files are 48kHz. I realize squeezeslave is locked-into 44.1k, but I
thought SqueezePlay was compatible with most normal rates. Is this
just because SqueezePlay is beta? Is this a known shortcoming? The
files are FLAC, and they seem to play OK on SB3. I can play on my PC
via mediamonkey. Any idea when Squeezeplay will deal correctly with
48k files? Or, ralphy, what about squeezeslave? I know the 44.1k issue
with mp3's is why some radio streams sound like chipmunks.
BTW, I am currently running 7.3r0 of SqueezePlay.
