tcutting, I don't have an ETA on fixing the 44.1 locked stream rate. I'm actually working on adding wma support into squeezeslave using the wma codec from rockbox. When we figure out dbinfl's issue with the new transcoding scheme, you should be able to do the same for your 48K files.
