Hmmm...see you provided this for unix/linux.  As noted in my earlier
posts, I'm running Windows.  I did try to use this custom-convert.conf
but with mplayer.exe that came with the Alien-BBC plugin, but it
complains it can't find the binary.  I edited your custom-convert.conf
to use the EXE and fully-pathed it, so I know it's not a path problem.

FWIW, I've decided over the past week to go with the all-hardware
solution.  Too many issues (not complaining, just stating a fact) with
SW players in general and seamless integration with HW players -
particularly with the music services.  So, I've ordered one more SBR
and the Boom.  You needn't spend anymore time on this on my account. 
However, I really do appreciate your support.
