Ah, forgot about that.

In my case, I just generated a uuid, and then set it in the
configuration Flash via the u-boot command line. (I might have also had
to set the correct Slim Devices MAC address in the same config space; I
don't remember off the top of my head.) I haven't tried with
SqueezeNetwork, but the randomly-generated uuid is just fine for a
local SqueezeCenter.
