To test I just upgrade my SC to 7.3.3 25521 on an x86 Ubuntu 8.10. I also removed my AACplus plugin.
I have no problems playing streams such as http://somafm.com/secretagent48.pls or http://www.radioparadise.com/musiclinks/rp_128aac-1.m3u Is your processor an x86 ? What stream are you trying to play ?
