I agree. Same here. The wheel works with the (old?) firmware I can boot with: setenv kernelblock 580 setenv mtdset 1 boot Once I set ethaddr (the one from the sticker) and serial# (some garbage string in the right format) the "wrong uuid" notice didn't show up again. > It's possible the button problem is a side effect of setting the mac/UUID addresses - in which case I will have to erase them using "nande a 4096" but I'm not sure what else will get erased. I don't think so. It erases the env block and u-boot falls back to the default one. I did: nande a 4096 (reset) saveenv boot And the unit boots just fine, now again with the "wrong uuid" message. And the wheel still doesn't work. I think that all other buttons work. And sound doesn't work as well with a new firmware (7.4_r5580). @SD: Is there any chance to get the unit usable / the wheel working? -- flipflip Check out flipflip's 'SlimServer On DiskStation (SSODS)' (http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods/)! -Gesucht: M u s i l 2 + 5- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ flipflip's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5223 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49519 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
