Nope - I don't want this. I've spent hours tagging each track on hundreds of compilation CD's with the correct release year. Year tags are really messed up. There needs to be an album/release year tag and a track year tag - 90% of the people 90% of the time will use years to mean the track year NOT the album (re)release year! This really is a very simple use-case: If I have a 2004 compilation containing "In The Summertime By Mungo Jerry" I NEVER want to see "In The Summertime By Mungo Jerry" come up when I search 2004 - I ALWAYS want to see it if I search 1972...
