I'll defer to you guys, you know much more about this than I ever will. It just struck me that their approach produces unwanted noise and fireworks among the customer base. Regrettable distractions that one wouldn't want new or potential customers to be exposed to. I don't normally have any interest in this particular forum, but this thread (like others) popped up when I clicked "New Posts". Logitech surely has access to whatever resources are required (presuming the product line is successful). Maybe the answer is simply to keep the use and discussion of pre-production versions out of public view.
