Yes... I "get it"... And I agree that the file structure does provide some indirect "metadata", and assumes that you are bunching albums up together... For the most part, this is what I do... However, because I have a strategy of separating lossy and lossless files, my strategy screws up the indirect metadata by separating the album tracks if I have a mix of lossy and lossless files... The prime example is where I have purchased the CD and rip it to FLAC, and the CD contains a code to download 3 bonus lossy tracks... But it sounds like my strategy is not common, and that this is a "personal problem" that is unique to me, and I just have to learn to deal with it... ;) -- MikeekiM SqueezeCenter Running on HP EX485 MediaSmart Server (WHS) - 1 SqueezeBox Duet - 4 SqueezeBox Booms ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MikeekiM's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19937 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67444 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
