I don't think so, but at least I don't shout about it.

I've never experienced small artwork being picked up instead of folder.jpg, so
I strongly believe it is working fine. If you know otherwise, raise a bug.

If they did, it is highly likely that one of those apps would either be adding
folder.jpg, cover.jpg or tagging the music files at which point other artwork
names/sizes are irrelevant.

And my point is that it's not better. Everyone else seems to agree, except for
you.

SBS already does much more than all other apps; it's very configurable,
supports many types of artwork tagging. There's no need for more complicated
rules that will add to the source code and slow down the processing, and solve
your specific request, for which no-one else in this thread has thought that
there's a problem to fix.

There's wasn't really even a problem before alphabetical choice. People just
accept that it; there's hardly any demand for a change in this area. I think
it could be argued that choosing no artwork is better, such that the user can
see which ones are not specifically defined properly and know at a glance what
missing artwork needs fixing.

A proof would be easy to to produce, but honestly why bother. It's obvious
that having to do something (and support and test on all operating systems), is
going to be faster than information that it already has available.

Please don't bother to reply any more - I think this is done. If you feel that
there's hundreds of people that would benefit, then file an enhancement request.
