I'm using the embedded branch now on Windows and so far, so good. I
think MySQL integration and switching between MySQL and SQLite are still
pretty broken, but it's working well with SQLite.

It's picking up new content and adding it to the db very quickly. I'm
impressed.

Would I be correct in assuming that, like TinySC, the server will
launch a scan every time it's started? If so, I'd suggest suppressing
the scanning status messages in the web interface for this initial scan.
For at least two reasons: 1) it's distracting, and 2) I still have
problems with the scanning status message never being cleared in the
main window (Firefox).

One problem(?): Manually running a new & changed I see the following.
The scan completes instantly. This is on a server with a test library
of about 50 albums and 750 tracks.

> Discovering files (1 of 0) Complete 00:00:00
>
> The server has finished scanning your music collection.
> Total Time: 00:00:00 (Monday, January 11, 2010 / 8:55 PM)

The scan launched at startup looks more like the following. I'm
guessing the 'n of 0' shown is a small bug.

> Discovering files (816 of 0) Complete 00:00:01
>
> The server has finished scanning your music collection.
> Total Time: 00:00:01 (Monday, January 11, 2010 / 9:01 PM)
