but alphabetical is ALWAYS going to be purely arbitrary, whereas the
others have a much higher chance of getting it right.  (in other words,
more likely to be desired behavior in most cases)

this whole thing is for unsophisticated users who are unaware.  its not
for phil for example who ALREADY specifies the filename he wants.

in my case, i could NOT specify the filename, IF highest resolution or
even filesize was used.  i could NOT do that IF alphabetical was used.

phil, you are a fringe case and its moot anyway, since you already
specify the filename you want used.  this feature is meant for
unsophisticated users.
