? hope not that sbs is case sensitive .I think not, it should accept Folder and folder ? A long shot Iweb-Ui settings > andvanced > formatting you can specify other names of the art file try Folder.jpg with capital "F" but thats a long shot.
It really should work with 7.6, I rescanned yesterday and all art showed up ? The Folder.jpg are not hidden or something ? Windows can sometimes think that artwork files are "system files" and thus hidden. are they all named Folder.jpg ? by default it Searches for folder.jpg cover.jpg and thumb.jpg . I don't know the priority order but cover is first alphabetically and embedded always wins over the file (because then you can have different art in a song in an album) Maybe up the logging some more ? do you have a complete server.log or scanner.log (I think the SQlite scanner actually writes to server.log ? ) zip and attach, maybe I cant read them properly but attached log triggers curiosity . I don't dare to tell you to experiment, you have such a large collection. Please use your own best judgment on what to do. But historically when owning a squeezebox you sometimes have to do a completely clean install of the server, upgrades don't allways work, the Linux and NAS build are such that clean installs is recommended (please don't if it's seems to work properly). And scanning is boring so to do experiments create a small collection in another folder filled with some selected trouble files, maybe just one album. And point sbs to that then you don't have to wait 6 hour to see results of the scan. And the logs are much shorter would not take hours for a developer to sift trough. For such a humongous collection ,do you run a dedicated server for it. I have my "tiny" collection on a dedicated machine to have a stable environment. My "Office PC" would not suffice to much changes and installs off whatever, And I simply do to much other stuff with it. -- Mnyb -------------------------------------------------------------------- Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J and assorted amps SiriuS, Classe'Primare and Dynadio speakers (including a pair of Contour 4 ) Bedroom/Office: Boom Kitchen: SB3 + powered Fostex PM0.4 Miscellaneous use: Radio (with battery) I use a Controller various ir-remotes and a Eee-PC with squeezeplay to control this ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=77526 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
