So I ran into this while trying to use SqueezePlay 7.5.1 and I think I know why we are getting this error, at least with SqueezePlay. In order to access "My Apps" it appears that the player needs to be registered with your mysqueezebox account at least once. I went into the "Test" menu, selected "SN registration", and registered SqueezePlay with my MSB account, and after restarting SqueezePlay, "My Apps" worked normally without the "This player is already registered..." message. Even after I disconnected from MSB and reconnected to my local SBS "My Apps" still worked as expected.
