I agree with Erland that support for playlists with out-of-library tracks is a nice feature. But I question the utility of keeping and scanning these automatically generated 'clientplaylist' files during a wipe 'n rescan, a.k.a. a wipecache. These 'clientplaylist's are playlists that the user has chosen NOT to save..or at least NOT chosen TO save.
That said...perhaps these clientplaylist are there so that playback-during-a-wipecache could be supported.
