This is maybe getting a bit off topic but since I'm interested and I
rather discuss something useful than pointless back and forth arguing,
I'm going to ask anyway.
Are we only taking about making it possible to select two genres or are
we talking of two different type of genres ?
How would the tagging look like in this case ?
Would it be:
GENRE: Classical Era;Choral Works
Or something like:
GENRE: Classical Era
WORKTYPE: Choral Works
The first one where each genre is the same type would show both
"Classical Era" and "Choral Works" on the first level, so you could as
well select:
Chamber Music (sub genre) -> Beethoven, L (composer) -> Classical Era
(genre) -> Albums
Is this how you imagine it or do you imaging two top level menus like:
- By Genres
-- Which allows: Classical Era (genre) -> Beethoven, L (composer) ->
Chamber Music (sub genre) -> Albums
- By Sub genres:
-- Which allows: Chamber Music (sub genre) -> Beethoven, L (composer)
-> Classical Era (genre) -> Albums
Or did you imagine to have only one top level menu:
- By Genres:
-- Which allows: Classical Era (genre) -> Beethoven, L (composer) ->
Chamber Music (sub genre) -> Albums
-- And also : Chamber Music (sub genre) -> Beethoven, L (composer)
-> Classical Era (genre) -> Albums
