Has this changed in 7.6?

I thought that a few of the "DB tidy up" scanner phases were eliminated, as 
there was a push to do it on the fly.  i.e. to support auto-rescan for tinySBS, 
and now full SBS.

i.e. I thought that all track deletions were done first, and then 
additions/updates, and then it merged songs into compilation albums, and 
deleting obsolete items (eg. if a genre is no longer needed), etc.

I wonder whether this sort of scale of change works better with 7.5.x than 7.6, 
and what the effect will be for SBS if auto-rescan is enabled in 7.6.
