But, to subsequently allow the list of artists to be grouped/sorted/filtered by contribution type would be a bonus.
If I have an album where all songs are by the same artist, I don't have an album artist tag. In SBS, that means I don't have an album artist contributor on the songs or album record. If I have an album where there is a guest on a song, then I do add an album artist tag. In SBS, that means I then get an album artist contributor, and track artist contributors on all songs. In 7.5.x, this was then ridiculous, as clicking the artist name on a normal album would list all contributions for that artist, but clicking an artist name on an album that had a guest on it would only show other albums that also had a guest on it. >At the current point in time I'm struggling to find any advantages to >the 7.6 branch over 7.5 at all; it all seems to be getting worse.
