Here's a problem I've been having with 7.7.0 for several weeks. I schedule a new & changed scan to run every night. The scan hangs about one in four or five attempts.
In this case I had added one new album and changed a cover for another (and bumped the timestamp on the album's audio files). See the attached log (with scan logging set to debug) and the screen cap below.
