It seems an awful lot of effort with a lot of serious compromises in release quality all to get a very basic (even crude!) DLNA server out the door. There are much better servers out there. Logitech would have been better to bundle the Revue with a 3rd party server in the same way graphics cards often come with PowerDVD (or alternative) for DVD/Blu-ray playback.
There is very little to be gained by the current mashing together of SBS and a DLNA server under the name LMS and no prospect (I hope) of moving Squeezeboxes onto DLNA as (amongst other things) it would certainly break device synchronisation. -- Davidg1 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Davidg1's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35004 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=90638 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
