Thanks for fixing the Windows build.

Now that you're in charge, is there any chance of fixing/improving the
Windows installer?

1) For some reason, it's the slowest installer that I've ever used on
Windows. (Seriously, I've installed enterprise versions of Microsoft
Office in less time.) I find that about 1/2 way through the installation
process the LMS service is available and usable, although you'd never
guess that. But that progress bar just creeps along saying "Waiting for
services to be configured and started". It's as though the installer is
using timers instead of actually being able to tell that files are in
place, registry setting have been made, and the server is actually
running. Isn't that what installers are supposed to do?

2) When reinstalling, why does it always ask for a language? Can't it
see the current language in use? If the language isn't stored in the
registry where it can easily be read by the installer, it should be.

3) I don't WANT the tray app installed. Every time I reinstall the
server, I have to exit the app and delete the shortcut from the Startup
folder.

4) And I also don't want a desktop shortcut pointing to the Control
Panel.

#3 and 4 should be options, like they are in virtually every simple
Windows installer. Many installers will also remember the user
selections (e.g. the language is English, doesn't want the tray app,
doesn't want a desktop icon) so that the user doesn't even have to
change checkboxes the next time he updates the server.
