- My Music/Composers/Contributor1 should probably only list albums where
the contributor acts as a composer because if you enter this menu you
are really looking for work composed by the selected contributor.
I think it would be reasonable that no matter how you end up browsing to a
specific contributor, it always lists all albums that they have had involvement
on, grouped by contributor role and then with the standard sort option (Sort
By... Album, etc) then applying within each group.
This is the same as it is now for browsing artists, when you drill down to the
set of albums by the artist, it also includes compilation albums that they
appear on. Ideally, this list would be grouped to show regular albums first,
with compilation albums last.
No, it's different in that today's Artists list only lists artist with
one of the roles ALBUMARTIST, ARTIST, TRACKARTIST, plus whatever you
checked in the preferences (COMPOSER, CONDUCTOR, BAND). If you drill
down you would get the same selection iirc.
Now if you want to browse by COMPOSER only, we should do the same: only
show albums/tracks in which the contributor has taken that role.
