Hmm, you're right. Didn't know that! Artist, album artist and track artist
content is always listed, and I have Band checked in prefs. I typically have
composers included in artist tags, so I do see these, but just found one
example where I have tagged conductor=Chopin (prefs for conductors unticked),
but I can browse to Chopin and see albums where he is an artist, but not where
he is tagged as the composer or conductor only.

I think this is a bit odd, and it leads to trouble with search results (see
other thread). Search is looking for all contributor roles, listing matches as
artists, and then they are not always browsable.

>Now if you want to browse by COMPOSER only, we should do the same: only
>show albums/tracks in which the contributor has taken that role.

Again, I think it would be good that there is a single artist's albums page
that allows all works (of any involvement type) to be displayed. Perhaps in
this case composers would be displayed at the top, followed by other
contributions, or with a way to enable/disable display of a single role or all
roles.

I'm not the best person to comment on ways to browse classical music
collections; there's probably not a nice fit to please everyone anyway, but in
my case with a modest collection of classical material, I'd prefer to see all
related albums for an artist, rather than too few.
